The Silver Seal Cafe

My husband and I went to the Silver Seal cafe a few weeks ago while on a coach trip. We found it a friendly place and had good coffee along with a couple of pies which were good. The service was quick and efficient. We suddenly realised we had just a few minutes to return to our coach and went dashing off. A while later, when many miles from Kyle that I had left my leather jacket in the cafe. I phoned and was assured if I sent my address it would be sent to me at home. I received it a couple of days later with a refusal of being reimbursed of the cost of sending it to me. That is beyond expectations and I cant thank them enough. I certainly would recommend the Silver Seal not just for the great coffee and food but their helpfulness and kindness too

The team at The Silver Seal Cafe gave me a safe place to eat, drink and use their WiFi on my devices while my van had broken down on the Isle of Skye. I had the opportunity to try nearly every option on the menu and always cleared my plate happily, even once buying 2 meals back to back one day when I was excessively hungry. They are happy to change options slightly on the menu for your preferences and will adjust prices accordingly for adding or taking away sides if you want to change things up. Every member of the Silver Seal Cafe looked after myself and other customers with care. The building offers itself as a peaceful but busy ambience suitable for people having group conversations or those wishing to sit quietly working. I would highly recommend using the free parking in town then visiting The Silver Seal Cafe to anyone passing through Kyle of Lochalsh travelling to and from Isle of Skye.

Our group enjoyed our meal at this cafe; the outlander sandwich was superb and as well as the fish and chips. Super friendly staff!

Nice place! Simple and modern. Very good atmosphere and decoration. The staff was nice and helpful. Food was very good as well! What else can you ask for? Good attention, Good Food, Good Vibes! Thank you!

Off season, was pishing down with rain and wild wind. Lovely wee cafe still open. Didn’t come up when I googled but certainly would recommend stopping to make sure you aren’t missing out! Beautiful coffee, owners were really proud of how local the coffee is! Super friendly and easy going, nothing was any trouble. Quick to offer an alternative due to one thing being out of stock - partner said he though it was better than what he had asked for originally and was very pleased with his breakfast! Culinary integrity at its finest. Will defiantly be visiting again if not for the food certainly the hospitality.

The Silver Seal Cafe was by far the most welcoming establishment we have been too since travelling around Scotland. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed and felt right at home. The couple were lovely and were more than happy to accomodate, share funny stories and get to know us. Not to mention the simple yet AMAZING fresh food, we went for dinner first and had to come back for breakfast the next day! 10/10 would highly recommend stopping into this Cafe! Thank you! :)
